Ex-Josie Harris of Floyd Mayweather Jr. found dead in his car

Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr. The former girlfriend Josie Harris is said to have died this week. New reports say Mayweather’s mother of three died in California.

According to reports, the police discovered Josie Harris “Corps at her home in Valencia. The cops found Harris Monday night in his vehicle. Law enforcement sources tell us that … officials were called to the home around 9:30 p.m. and when they arrived, they found Harris, 40, who was unresponsive in his car. She was declared dead at the scene. We are told that there does not appear to be any unfair play and that the matter is treated as an investigation into a death as opposed to an investigation into homicide. (TMZ) Dating from the mid-90s, Josie Harris and Mayweather are said to have had an abusive relationship together. Floyd eventually served a prison sentence for a domestic violence conviction. During their difficult relationship, which began in 1995, Harris claimed that she had suffered repeated abuse from her handsome boxer. Mayweather in 2010 was convicted of attacking his former girlfriend and spent two months behind bars for the incident of domestic violence. He allegedly entered her home in Vegas in September of that year, pulled her by the hair and started beating her, according to USA Today. The attack ended only after their eldest child, Koraun, managed to sneak out of the house and get help. (New York Daily News) “I was a battered woman,” said Harris. “I felt embarrassed to say that I was a battered woman. I was ashamed. I felt like it was my fault. What did I do? I did not understand what a battered woman was at that time. Now I know that I was in a very dysfunctional hostile relationship and a victim of domestic violence. (United States today)
